This was an excellent result away on a course which most of the team had little experience of.
Little short on detail, however I can report that Brian Maddison had a magnificent victory 4-3

23rd April Away at Shrivenham
Lost 5-2
To quote our new team captain "Unfortunately we were on the end of a bit of a stuffing!!!!", with a defence of they had a strong side with 3 single figure handicappers and a couple of bandits. Also that to date they remain unbeaten.
Looking at the scores you would find it difficult to disagree!!!
Robin Rusher lost 3-4, Darren Burton won 5-4, David Pratt halved, Nigel Swinford lost 3-5, Danny Sayer halved, Mick Jarvis lost 2-3 and yours truly lost 4-5. Not the result we were hoping for.
2nd April Away at Brailles
Won 5-2
Drayton 2 played their 1st match of this season and got away to fine start against Feldon Valley winning 5 games to 2. The team this year has several new members , Robin Rusher, David Pratt, Nigel Swinford and Danny Sayer all of which gained valuable points. The old stagers of the team played their part also, winning 7-5, 6-5, and a half. For those who dont know who Feldon Valley are, they were known as Brailes.
Chris Spearing lost 4-5, Robin Rusher halved, Darren Burton won 6-5, David Pratt won 1-up, Nigel Swinford won 3-2, Danny Sayer halved, John Hayden won 7-5.
